Ilaichi was born from the hearts of Gen-Z cousins who grew up surrounded by the world of fabric, handwork, and karigari. For us, clothing wasn’t just something people wore, it was the language spoken in our home. We saw dyes being mixed, needles moving in rhythm, artisans creating magic with their hands… all long before we understood what a “brand” even meant.

Ilaichi is our way of blending everything we’ve inherited with everything we’ve become. We create Indian ethnic wear for today’s modern audience, people who express themselves boldly, softly, uniquely through what they wear. Our designs are rooted in tradition but styled for the now, crafted with the same care, skill, and love we grew up watching.

Why the name ILAICHI?

We chose the name ilaichi because it perfectly captures the energy we want our brand to carry, small, warm, comforting, and unforgettable. Just like the spice, ilaichi may look tiny, but it changes everything it touches. It adds flavour, depth, and that little spark you didn’t know you needed.
